When renting a limousine, the cardinal rule would be ‘do not act stingy’. Be prepared to blow some dough, if not, settle for something less exclusive. One of the biggest mistakes people commit when shopping limo is basing decisions on the comparative price. Well, you get what you pay for.

How much does it take to rent a limo. Factor in the time of the year when you are renting it, the make of the limo, the time of the week, the area from where you are renting it, the distance to be traveled in the rented vehicle and finally the kind of service you want.

Once you have factored these in, you can ask the rental agency for an appropriate price. However, do note some points when you go after the lowest priced item on the rate chart:

Are you ready to risk being delayed for the event for which you are booking a limo in the first place? If your vehicle does not arrive at the appointed time, what will happen. A limo of an old make fairly dilapidated in condition arrives to ferry you to your appointment and that is not exactly what you had in mind. Customer service badly in need of some polishing may be something you had never bargained for.

Break downs when least expected and in the middle of nowhere. And an accident at the end of day with the limo not even equipped with proper insurance to cover your injuries or its damages. So you know now it is not the product but service also that needs to be taken care of !
